In order to run CUE Streaming you must have an internet connection with a source. Also, in order to avoid heavy duty buffering with CUE Streaming... you must have at least a 15 Mbps of downloadspeed. How you can find out if you have enough speed or not is if you can play Netflix and/or Prime videos with no issues.... if you have no issues than you have enough download speed. If you truly want to know what your download speed is than you can download a free Speed Test Software onto your firestick to perform a speed test. If your internet provider is AT&T or Spectrum consider turning off their VPN on the router. Try Surfshark VPN, that will block your your internet provider from seeing what your are streaming. If they throttle your speed because you are not using a "premium" streaming service, that will put a stop to it. http://surfshark.com/
If your router has a smart connect, where it will automatically switch your devices between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, turn it OFF! Set different SSID's and passwords for each one in the router settings. Then try 2.4 and 5 on each firestick to determine which one works best on each firestick in your home.
If your router give you the option to prioritize bandwidth for certain devices, prioritize your firestick. This should also reduce or eliminate freezing/buffering.
